Established: 2000 Sections: - English and French languages - German language - Slavonic languages - Foreign language teaching The Department provides foreign language teaching to all students in the faculties and colleges. Research work: - Methodology of foreign language teaching for special purposes; - Characteristics of teaching foreign languages for special purposes to nonphilology students; - Contrastive linguistics; Culture studies and intercultural contacts. Facilities: 3 language laboratories, a TV studio, audio and video equipment.
