COVID-19 pandemic has forced the hospitals to adapt to new operating conditions. Тhe search for oncourological help was hampered by the pandemic situation.
Purpose: The purpose of the analysis is to assess the oncourological morbidity in the Urology Department at UMBAL Burgas for the period (01.01.2017 to 31.10.2021) and to estimate the impact of the pandemic on the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases.
Results: The results were summarized and analyzed by grouping by nosological units, malignancy loocalisation, age distribution and place of residence.
Conclusion: The COVID pandemic has a negative impact on the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases.
