ABSTRACT: The problem of "professional stress" is especially relevant today, due to ever-increasing demands on employees and declining tolerance for mistakes made by them, both by employers and society as well. Especially true for the medical professions. In the last two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has been added as an indisputable additional risk factor leading to professional consumption. At the same time, cases of brutal violence against medics have increased.
In this article we aim to study what is described in the scientific literature on professional consumption among medical professionals and violence against them. As a result of in-depth analysis, we were able to draw conclusions and recommendations aimed at reducing the risk of such incidents of violence against medics.
