STUDENT’S OBLIGATIONS

According to the Academic Regulations the students are expected (art.48, par.1):

1. to respect the University and help enhance its  prestige;

2. to abide by the University’s rules and regulations;

3. to come to class adequately prepared;

4. to do tests, complete homework assignments, take part in course projects and  practical training;

5. to take exams on dates specified;

6. to attend and participate, as appropriate, in all scheduled classes;

7. to abide by the rules established in the residence halls;

8. to treat the University’s property with appropriate care;

9. to pay tuition fees within the payment deadlines fixed.

 

Sanctions

 

Any student violating the academic integrity  and the Law of Higher Education and University Regulations is sanctioned by (art. 49,  par.  1):

1.  reprimand;

2. severe reprimand;

3. suspension from the University for a year;

4. dismissal from the University.

      (2) The penalties are imposed by the rector and are proposed by:

1. the head of the corresponding main unit for academic matters.

2. the head of the Students’ canteens and residence halls- for social and welfare issues.

      (3) Prior to proposing a penalty to the rector and in accordance with par.2, item 1 and 2,  the respective head of academic unit  is obliged to listen to the student’s explanations or accept a written statement.
