ART-RELATED ACTIVITIES

The University supports a vocal group, a folk song group, a band called Students’ Voices, a folk dance group, a batik art workshop, а modern graphic culture workshop, and а workshop in painting. They are led by the Pedagogy of Arts and Physical Education Chair staff.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES

The university has indoor and outdoor sports facilities such as three multi-gyms, fitness, table tennis, aerobics and callanetics rooms, as well as outdoor tennis, basketball, volleyball, handball and soccer courts and fields. Two-stage  competitions in various sports for men and women are held yearly. The students’ sports performances are organized by the Medical College Rehabilitation Section teaching staff. Prof. Assen Zlatarov University is a member of Academic - the Bulgarian University Sports Association, and participates in the events organized by it with its own teams.
